Merry Christmas, again!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Finally, I get to write to you after a long day I had today. I’m writing to u from Kelantan now. Huh?! Kelantan?! What are you doing there, Joyce? Some of you may ask… well, the only reason I’m here is bcoz my parents are here now. They had just transferred here a few months ago. I’ve been meaning to tell you this since a few days ago but I was busy and tired and lazy(?) to find time to do so. My father is still doing the same thing. But again you may want to ask…why Kelantan? Well, we do have Anglican churches here…although the majority population are Muslims but we do still have small Christian community consisting of Indians, Chinese and East Malaysians here. Yes, my father is ministering among them now.

Yes, this is my very first time celebrating Christmas in Kelantan. And I’m glad it’s a good one. :) After the morning Christmas service in Kok Lanas, Kota Bahru, today, we went to a few open houses by some of the church members. They were so warm and friendly to us, putting me at ease most of the time (feel bloated after all the foods too). :) And after the open house activity, my family and I went to the Tambatan D’raja jetty and had our afternoon tea at an open-air, floating restaurant there; watching the afternoon activity there, while having the fresh Kelantan keropok lekor. And now I’m writing to you after our family dinner and gifts unwrapping tonight. :) Now I think my waistline has expanded 5 inches bigger…hahaa…

Don’t worry about this. I used to move from a place to another place since I was a little girl. That’s the culture…we learnt to cope with my father’s job nature?.. Personally, sometimes I did like to move places (because I thought I had stayed in that place for a long time), but sometimes I didn’t like it (simply because I thought I hadn’t stayed in that place long enough), but yes, I was and I’m still fine with it. The last time we moved was a few years back, yea, we moved to our very own place, Sandakan; my birth hometown. :)

Oh no! Do I spill too much info here… now I’m real worried. I think I want to tell you…that’s why I write this… but if I think this is not fine, I might delete this post anytime soon. In the meantime, I want to take this chance to wish you again a very happy and blessed Christmas. May you put your hope and faith upon Jesus alone. God bless you!

P/S: For friends in Sabah, you can always visit my parents here in Kelantan. I believe they’ll be very happy to have you here (and don’t forget to visit their daughter in KL, ya! *grin* I believe she doesn’t mind to bring you around KL if she has time:)).
