What the book is all about: It is basically an experience-sharing about how they turned, otherwise a dying church into a vibrant church, full of passionate young people. Peter shared on almost every aspect of church-planting; from the spiritual aspect, physical building, public relations, evangelism methods, etc. 

Comment: As I read through the book, I had a growing respect towards the author. I admired his discipline and maturity towards Christian journey and of course his passion in reaching the younger generation. I particularly like the part when he likened different generations as the generations of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Abraham (could represent the older generation or the pioneer of the faith), then continued by Isaac. Then, came Jacob into the picture, a totally new breed (as Peter put it) representing the younger generation. Overall, it’s a good read.

Warnings Against Folly

1 My son, if you have put up security for your neighbor,
    if you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger,
² you have been trapped by what you said,
    ensnared by the words of your mouth.
³ So do this, my son, to free yourself,
    since you have fallen into your neighbor’s hands:
Go—to the point of exhaustion—^[a]
    and give your neighbor no rest!

    he will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.

¹⁶ There are six things the Lord hates,
    seven that are detestable to him:
¹⁷         haughty eyes,
        a lying tongue,
        hands that shed innocent blood,
¹⁸         a heart that devises wicked schemes,
        feet that are quick to rush into evil,
¹⁹         a false witness who pours out lies
        and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
