Wrestling with dark thoughts,
Things seem to be hopeless,
Whence the effects impair
Both the frail mind
And the fragile emotions,
When one has to struggle
With his very own thoughts,
When yourself becomes your worst enemy.
The mind is a dangerous place;
A battlefield for incessant fight,
It is horrific, it is horrible,
Yet the battle is one
That one should not
Dwell in nor duel with,
For hatching on it,
Will only nurture monstrous evil.
The journey is dark,
The walkway is unhappy,
Yet one must learn to find peace;
Peace in the midst of chaos,
Peace in isolation,
Peace in the crowds,
Just so maybe... maybe...
Healing will take place.
